In others, victims are lied to, assaulted, threatened or manipulated into working under inhumane, illegal or otherwise unacceptable conditions. It is a multi-billion dollar criminal industry that denies freedom to 24.9 million people around the world - and with social meida, it is easier than ever.

Recognizing potential red flags and knowing the indicators of human trafficking is a key step in identifying more victims and helping them find the assistance they need. These posters were created as a potential informational campaign by Polaris, as a way to teach teens about the signs they, or someone they know, might be abused.
